Web Site

• The template for this website, the logo, and the application cover art was designed by Judy Haber. She also provided a lot of feedback and support into the layout and site design.
• For CSS we use a Skeleton and Normalize.css.
• Most JavaScript is compiled with Google's Closure Compiler.
• CSS and Embedded Javscript is compiled with Yahoo's YUI Compressor.
• HTML is minified with htmlcompressor.
• Wow. That's some old stuff. I really should modernize this!

• Some contributions were made by Kyle Hubert including zooming improvements and several coloring modes.

• At the last minute I decided to add some demo sprite sheets.
  • The "Kitty Hula" sprite sheet was made (very quickly) by Judy Haber.
  • The "Fire" sprite sheet was made with TimelineFX.

Third Party

• Galaxy++ is based on the Galaxy screensaver found in XScreenSaver. Galaxy++ was an AI assisted port of the C code to JavaScript. XScreenSaver is maintained by Jamie Zawinski and others. The original Galaxy Screensaver was written by Uli Siegmund, Harald Backert, and Hubert Feyer in 1997.

• A number of contributions to our core software stack were made by Kyle Hubert.
• Originally, this website was automated and glued together with the magic of Perl. The LCMS (Leshy Content Management System) static site generator was created for building and deploying this site. In 2026 everything was converted to the Igloo static site generator.
